This website uses Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies. The information generated by cookies about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. We have activated the anonymization of IP addresses before forwarding them to Google. This means that your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Google uses this information, on our behalf, to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide us with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Your IP address, which is transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics, will not be merged with other data from Google.
b) Legal basis for data processing
The legal basis for the storage of cookies is the consent given (Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. a GDPR).
c) Purpose of the data processing
We use Google Analytics to analyze and regularly improve the use of our website. The statistics obtained enable us to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. For the exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.
d) Duration of storage
The further evaluation of the collected data using Google Analytics is carried out for a period of 2 years on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. f GDPR.

You can also find more detailed information on this at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en-GB&gl=de (general information on Google Analytics and data protection).
f) Integration of Google Tag Manager
This website uses Google Tag Manager, a tool through which website tags are managed via an interface. Here, only tags are implemented. It is therefore operated without cookies. The tool triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If a deactivation has been made at a domain or cookie level, this remains in place for all tracking tags that are implemented with Google Tag Manager. https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/tag-manager/use-policy/.
5.2 Google Ad Grants / Google Adwords Tracking
a) Description and scope of data processing
In order to advertise our offers/topics on external websites with the help of so-called Google Adwords (advertising media), we use the service of Google Ad Grants. This is an offer for NGOs from Google Adwords. The advertising material is transmitted by Google to so-called "Ad Servers". This is done using ad server cookies, which enable the evaluation of performance parameters such as ad impressions, clicks or conversions. This enables us to determine how successful the individual advertising measures are. If you access our website via a Google ad, a cookie from Google Adwords is stored on your PC. The following analysis values are usually stored for this cookie and enable Google to recognize your Internet browser:
- Unique Cookie ID
- Number of ad impressions per placement (Frequency)
- Last impression (relevant for post-view conversions)
- OptOut information (marking that the user does not want to be addressed again)
Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with Google's server. Please note that data processing by Google may take place outside the European Union. Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. Furthermore, we have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our state of knowledge.
Through the integration of "tracking tools", Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding web page of our website or clicked on an ad from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, there is a possibility that the provider may obtain and store your IP address.
b) Legal basis for data processing
The legal basis for the storage of the cookie by Google is the consent given (Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. a GDPR).
c) Purpose of the data processing
Based on the evaluations by Google, it is possible for us to recognize which of the advertising measures used are particularly effective. However, we ourselves do not collect and process any personal data in the aforementioned advertising measures.
We do not receive any further data from the use of the advertising media; in particular, we cannot identify the users on the basis of this information.
d) Duration of storage
Cookies usually lose their validity after 30 days and are not intended to identify you personally.
e) Possibility of objection and elimination
You can refuse the setting of a cookie. This can be done, for example, via browser settings that generally deactivate the automatic setting of cookies. Alternatively, you can disable cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain "www.googleadservices.com". You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website by Google by installing a browser plugin: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
If you do not wish to receive interest-based advertising, you can disable Google's use of cookies for these purposes by visiting https://www.google.de/settings/ads/.
